How do I create a library of templates?

Cut website build times with a ready-to-go library of templates. There are two kinds of templates: global and local. Global templates are free, business specific templates built by Mono. Local templates are built by you - either from scratch or based on a copy of a global Mono template.

With a variety of templates at your disposal, you have a great starting off point for building a website. Find, modify, or create a template to fit the industry of the small business. Quick updates and customisation to global content and global design made possible during template creation speeds the website build and customisation process up even more.

How do I create templates?

Users assigned with an Admin, Fulfilment, or Consultant role have access to build templates. You can either build templates from scratch or, once it has been copied over to your local template library, modify a Mono template.

It is recommended that when building templates, certain criteria should be fulfilled, including that a template has been created with a specific business vertical in mind, it has been constructed after best practice for that specific vertical, and that global data tags have been included in the relevant pages and modules.

How do I add a template to the website?

There are few different ways that you can add a template to a site. One option is to apply a template when creating a new account. You can select the relevant template from the dropdown at the bottom of the account creation page. Another option is to apply a template to existing sites - either by copying the entire template, which will overwrite the global design and all content or by copying the design, which will overwrite the design but the content will remain untouched.
